Peace Camp was produced by Artichoke, one of the UK's leading creative companies and a registered charity, funded by Arts Council England.

The company works with the best creative minds and aims to produce extraordinary shows that live in the memory forever.

"Artichoke is unique: a company that works with some brilliant artists to bring a little magic to people's lives. They're an invaluable part of the cultural fabric of the UK..."

Ruth Mackenzie, OBE, Director, Cultural Olympiad

Our past productions have included Royal de Luxe's The Sultan's Elephant, which filled the streets of London for four days in 2006; La Machine's 50-foot high mechanical spider for Liverpool's Capital of Culture celebrations in 2008; Antony Gormley's 100-day long invasion of the Fourth Plinth in Trafalgar Square in London, One & Other; and Lumiere, the UK's largest light festival that transformed Durham in 2009 and 2011.

Artichoke Hearts is our supporters club, which helps us make accessible and inspiring projects happen. Every donation that we receive, no matter how small, is vital to us.

Make a donation today to enjoy the satisfaction of sharing in the creation of events like Peace Camp that bring surprise, pleasure and delight to thousands of people. Whatever you can afford, it will make a real difference.
